Research Project Part One: Go to the source!
There are so many mysteries around the ancient Mesoamerican cultures and their myths: Why did they choose to sacrifice their lives? What was the real purpose of the game known as "tlatchli"? How do these ancient cultures remain alive to this day?
For this project, you will choose a specific research topic connecting to these cultures and their myths. You will write an original research question to guide your study. You will find a number of reliable research sources. Finally, you will use researched information and images to create an original presentation on your topic. We will work on this project over several weeks, one step at a time!
Step One: Topic, Questions, and Sources
By now, you should have chosen your research topic. You should have just one specific topic. You should have at least three specific research questions about this topic. Then, you will search for at least three reliable research sources about your topic.
Your assignment for today is to submit a comment below stating your research topic, your three research questions, and the title and links to your two research sources (Wikipedia does not count!).
